Don't use the course as your sole method of learning though. Overall, I'd look at the ratings for the course (number of users and number of stars) and grab courses that are highly rated.

There is also a nice CBT Nuggets series on Linux which is a great overview, especially when. However, the CCNA course by Lorenzo Diaz (sp?) is supposed to be excellent if you're looking for video-training for that exam. Pluralsight has some good videos for the MCSA Server 2012. I've found the Infinite Skills videos to be of decent quality, but they're not enough to help you pass an exam. The quality of the courses tend to vary depending on who actually produces them. Never pay more than $15 for a course as there are always sales and coupons. Udemy: Udemy collects videos made by 3rd parties and then sells them on the site. I'd suggest pairing them with ITPro.TV or a good book on the subject. Definitely not enough to pass an exam, but it's excellent to give you a solid overview of the material. Luckily they seemed to have realized the error and the 'good' hosts came back for later videos.ĬBT Nuggets: Great nugget-style lessons that are short.but shallow. In the 70-411 videos, it seems that they tried to get a couple of behind-the-scenes people to host an episode or two and those episodes were almost unwatchable.

My only complaint (so far) is that some of their hosts are terrible.

That being said, the banter is full of good information too. Videos are short enough that you dont get bored, but theyre often not quite long enough to get into certain topics. Courses for the 70-410 and 70-411 exam were decent. You'll know when to slow it back down to normal speed to look at what's happening. PluralSight: Excellent for getting a low-to-mid-range look at Sysadmin-type learning. If the 'banter' from the hosts is irritating, you can always speed up the video. When this happens, they walk through troubleshooting with you and take you to the solution. Things go wrong on the show and things break. What this means is that it gives you a fairly close real-life example of how something may be implemented. The videos are LONG, but they're semi-unscripted.

I used this to help pass the 70-410 (along with a Udemy course) and I'm currently using it for the 70-411 exam. 70-740 and 70-741 I just used CBT Nuggets and the Microsoft Docs.

Hi Guys, I'm going to study for the 70-410 but don't have the money available to pay for video tutorials like Pluralsight and CBT Nuggets.
